Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas
So I checked in on Sunday 28th May 2017 but as most of you would be aware it was memorial weekend so one of the busiest weekends.
I arrived in a uber but for some reason they are not allowed to park outside the entrance so park slightly past it. No bell boy was there to greet us so we hauled our luggage to the check in. Our room was some how not ready (even though check in was 3pm and we arrived at 11pm!) due to the inconvenience they upgraded us to the terrace studio with a fountain view.
The room was the best room I’ve ever stayed in. It was huge with a massive main bathroom with walk in shower and hot tub looking out onto the fountain! I loved the marble flooring as well. The other bathroom had a big shower and toilet to. There was a kitchen area sofas and a huge bed. The balcony topped it off for me and was one of the main reasons I stayed here as almost all hotels in Vegas don’t have balconys. The balcony was a great size with amazing views but be warned there are gaps between them so your neighbours can peer in.
The mini bar was expensive a bottle of water was $10 and it’s all electronic so if you pull something out they will try and charge you when checking out so be warned! The room has a iron and ironing board and also has robes with slippers but you can’t take the robe home.
The hotel itself was amazing everything looked so new and to be honest you wouldn’t need to leave the facilities. It has a few different bars including the famous chandelier bar as pictured below. Had it’s own nightclub which is also where they host the pool parties called ‘marquee’ don’t worry if your not the pool party type as they have 2 other main pools. The Chelsea pool is the most relaxed and has a chilled vibe. The cosmopolitan has some really nice restaurants in STK being one of them but if you have been to the one in London you will know this is expensive. The casino is huge as well so plenty to do if you love a gamble.
Other then checking in I have nothing but great words to say about this hotel. It was amazing and if I return to Vegas would be definitely be staying here again. One thing I would say is upgrade your room as for me the room is a big factor in your stay.
