Hi guys, so todays blog post is all about my style guide for the races. All of us gents secretly enjoy making that extra bit of effort to look sharp. At the races we all get our best suits on and head down to enjoy a fun day with our friends/family.
There is one special event I want to talk about Mr Green Ladies & Gents evening at Chester Races on 13th July. They host a ”Best Dressed” contest and I want to help inspire you to look your best and maximise your chances of winning the contest.
For me personally, if I am heading to the races I would probably go all out and choose a 3 piece suit. I think the waistcoat always brings that extra bit of class. This was one of my favourite looks that could be ideal for the races. I picked up this suit from Burton for less than £150. You could also add a pocket square to complete the look.
As we are finally getting a decent summer in the UK (!!) why not consider going for a suit in a lighter colour such as a beige or light pink. I really love this suit from Reiss.
This suit has a real summer vibe and will definitely help you stand out. If you think the full suit is too much then why not swap the trousers for some dark chinos. Complete the look with some loafers.
This light pink suit from Asos will definitely make you stand out for all the right reasons and is perfect in this weather. I always prefer skinny/slim fit suits, for me they just fit better.
Let me know what you guys think of these looks. Feel free to ask me any questions!
Keep sharing, stay motivated…
